MANIPURA OR SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA
Manipura, the Solar Plexus Chakra. This image was composited from images that include the early morning riverside arati puja in Varanasi, the Jaswant Thada Mausoleum in Jodhpur and fire from a Tiruvannamalai rice field burn off. This chakra is characterised by the fire element and Agni, the God of fire. Its symbolic animal is the ram that can be seen in the flames above the chakra petals.
