SAHASRARA OR CROWN CHAKRA
Sahasrara, the thousand petal lotus or Crown Chakra. I constructed 50 rings of 20 petals from one original in an arrangement that enhances the feeling of pulsing energy. At first I had the petals in their original colour, but when I did more research it seemed like the consensus amongst clairvoyants leans towards this chakra having subtle rainbow colours.
I also thought it fitting to include the Taj Mahal given that it is a temple dedicated to love, and the South Indian mountain of Arunachala, reputed to be the sacred home of the Hindu god Shiva. Ramana Maharshi said that his guru was the mountain, he meditated there for 17 years in a cave on the side of the hill before his enlightenment. Birds and white light beams embellish the higher consciousness associated with this chakra.
