CACTI, ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS
During a recent visit to one of my favourite places, the Cacti and Succulent garden of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney, I was testing out my beautiful new 70-200mm f2.8 Nikon Z lens with another recent acquisition, a Nikon Z7ii camera. I was shooting wide open to soften the blue sticks in the background whilst maintaining the sharpness of the spines on the foreground sticks. I’ve added another layer of colour with the foreground plants to complete the image.
